8:00-3:30: Using MTSS to Improve Intervention and Inform Eligibility Decisions
Amanda VanDerHeyden, PhD
MTSS provides a framework for improving learning outcomes through effective screening, instruction, intervention, and data-based decision making. This workshop will unpack assessment and intervention from the risk decision through progress monitoring, class-wide intervention, diagnostic assessment, and intensified intervention. Participants will learn how to use data from well-implemented intervention systems to evaluate student response, guide instructional decisions, and support defensible evaluation and eligibility decisions.
4:00-6:00: The State of School Psychology in Colorado: Responding to Today, Shaping Tomorrow*- Krista Klabo, EdS, Ben Ellis, EdS
*This session will fulfill 2 hours of the Law/Ethics requirement for NCSP renewal
