The Colorado Society of School Psychologists has a mini-grant program designed to support new practitioners. For the 2019-2020 school year, $800 is available for mini-grants, with maximum amount awarded per grant of $400. Mini-grant funds may be used for the following purposes: materials to support direct instruction in a classroom; education and training materials; relevant professional development activities/workshops; assessment materials; items which help meet the basic needs of children; therapeutic curricula; relevant apps and/or games; and books for children. Grants may not be used for CSSP fall conference registration fees.
Early career school psychologists with the following qualifications are eligible to apply for a mini-grant:
● Currently working in the field of school psychology in a school in Colorado
● Less than 3 years of experience and/or within 3 years of graduation from a school psychology graduate program. If you are in your third year of practice, you may apply.
● Current member of the Colorado Society of School Psychologists
