The Colorado Society of School Psychologists has a mini-grant program designed to support new practitioners. The CSSP Early Career Mini-Grant is completely dependent on private donations and proceeds from the CSSP raffle held at the annual fall conference. For the 2023-2024 school year, $800 is available for mini-grants, with a maximum amount awarded per grant of $400. Mini-grant funds may be used for the following purposes: materials to support direct instruction in a classroom or virtually; education and training materials; relevant professional development activities/workshops; assessment materials; items which help meet the basic needs of children; therapeutic curricula; relevant apps and/or games; and books for children. Grants may not be used for CSSP fall conference registration fees.
Current CSSP Members who meet the following qualifications are eligible to apply:
- Currently working in the field of school psychology in a school in Colorado
- Less than 3 years of experience and/or graduation from a school psychology graduate program within the last 3 years. If you are in your third year of practice, you may apply.
