Professional Development Program Area

The Professional Development program area encourages ongoing professional growth among school psychologists through the annual fall conference as well as other training opportunities. The Professional Development program works to support the skills and knowledge of trainers, students and leaders of school psychology.

The Conference Committee oversees all aspects of the fall conference, including program and workshop selection, the exhibit hall, volunteers, and special events.

The Courage to Risk Committee collaborates with a variety of organizations in providing quality educational experiences to parents, students, teachers and community members at the annual Courage to Risk conference.

The Nominations and Elections Committee provides the membership an opportunity and process to nominate and elect CSSP’s officers.

Student Representatives represent all school psychology training programs within the state and provide support to students in those programs. They encourage student membership as well as student involvement in CSSP.
