Information Services Program Area

The Information Services program area develops and distributes information to support the work of school psychologists:

The Publications Committee is responsible for publishing the CSSP newsletter (3-4 issues per year). The committee encourages students, practitioners or trainers in school psychology to submit articles of interest, review, or research.

The Membership Committee performs maintenance duties such as management of the annual membership renewal process as well as actions to increase membership including special membership drives. The committee also evaluates all applications submitted by persons wishing to join CSSP.

The Technology Committee provides online resources for school psychologists, parents and teachers.

The Research Committee reviews research proposals submitted for the annual CSSP research award for original research developed by members.

The Public Relations Committee represents and promotes CSSP’s professional interests to members, other professional organizations, educators, and to the public at large. The committee is responsible for coordinating all necessary activities related to the School Psychologist of the Year award.
